I've seen some videos circulating online that Purina is having an issue with worms and black beatles in their food. Has anyone delt with this? Any other food recommendations?

We've fed different PPP varieties to 5 goldens over about 20 years. Never seen bugs/worms/maggots/larvae in the food. We have purchased from Petco and Pet Supplies Plus in Midlothian, VA( suburb of Richmond) and also from Chewy. What all the folks having these issues should consider is what area/region of the country y'all live in. If there's some commonality there then it likely could be a storage issue.

At the end of the day, everyone needs to do what they're comfortable with. If you have concerns about vermin in pro plan, there are certainly lots of alternatives out there to use. So just quietly move on, and pick a different dog food.
