Has anybody heard of or used a 'Seresto' flea and tick collar?
My vet was mentioning about possibly getting these collars in, at least I think the "Seresto" is what he was talking about. He had talked to a sales rep about it, but he could not remember the name of the collar itself. It is made by Bayer.
I am usually not a fan of flea and tick collars, but it does seem to be an interesting alternative to spot on treatments. It is suppose to last 8 months and be safe for dogs and cats alike and really work from head to toe or tail
I am not sold on it yet, especially since my dogs don't wear collars in the house around the clock. Also it is recommended not letting your pets sleep in bed with you, when wearing the collars. Well, my dogs are allowed on the bed, but only my dachshund sleeps under the covers with us, lol. I am not kicking Dachsi out of the bed.
I am including a link to the Bayer website with the description of it.
It sounds interesting but like I said, it is fairly new and not a lot of information about it yet out there that would make me run out and get one at this time.

Anyway, any input and experience is appreciated, thanks
