My female golden retriever is 1 year and 5 months now. Around a month ago, a groomer shaved a small area on Chloé's butt right under her tail base (I was actually surprised about this when I saw Chloé afterward because I didn't ask for shaving that area and never did before). Then, I noticed that she was uncomfortable with that, started licking that part more often than usual. So, I applied ointment on that area to reduce any possibility of inflammation and make her wear a cone for a few days (sorry, Chloé!). After a few weeks passed now, I noticed that the fur on her butt is pink! I thought it was the skin that turned pink, but actually it's the fur? Also the fur on the base of her tail started to get pinker as well. Like brownish pink?

Has anyone's golden ever experienced this too before?
