How far in advance do you think a dog can sense an earthquake?

MacKenzie woke me about 3:15 this morning and for about an hour and a half she kept me up and was very restless. She threw herself against me, leaning hard - she does this when she is scared, but could not get comfortable. She kept pawing me, and no matter where I pet her, she was not happy. The last two times she did this, it was when there was an earthquake in OK a couple hours from us.

During this time, I got on line to see if anything was going on, nothing, but this morning I see that there was one in OK at 7 this morning.

She finally fell asleep and was her usual self this morning. Do you think it was the earthquake? Brady slept through the night. Usually he is up too for the past earthquakes, and I usually don't feel them.

We recently had a 5.7 quake about an hour & a half from us. It woke me up and Woody thought it was kind of neat but he gave me no forewarning as far as I know.

I grew up in San Francisco and we had quite a few shakers down there. I don't recall any of our setter's ever giving a warning signal...maybe because they were just use to them. ;)
