Golden Retriever Meet-ups Southern California?

Hi there,

My family lives in Los Angeles (near Culver City.) We've got a three month old male golden retriever named Chewie (from Cathie Turner's Sunbeam Golden Retrievers.) Just looking for possible meet ups of golden retriever owners near me so that as Chewie grows, we might have the opportunity to meet other friendly goldens. In another month his shots will be done and he'll be ready to be out in the world full-time. We'd love to meet some other local goldens!

It would be great to meet everyone!

Thanks for hooking me up with the old thread. We'd definitely be open to traveling down the OC or toward San Diego. It would be fun to see if we could organize something in the coming months. Has anyone tried the dog beach in Huntington Beach. It gets a little crazy full of dogs so I wasn't sure if it might be a little much, but it sure looks like fun.
