Our puppy is 6 months old now. Could someone be kind enough to recommend a dog door for our back door that leads to a deck? I have looked up many doors online, but the ones that seem to be good are the expensive Endura and Hale pet doors. Are these doors really worth 400-500$? Or am I being too picky?
In general, the criteria I am looking are 1. Good seal to prevent draft. 2. We will not leave the dog door open at night. 3. Security would also be good( otherwise, I plan to install a storm door outside, and the main door will have dog door)
I have also looked at the electronic ones(hitecpet), but I am a bit reluctant because of the collar requirement. We are located in Little Rock, Arkansas, so it shouldn't get cold for extended periods of time.
