Newbie 'asked' to go potty this morning!! I'm so excited I had to share! :headbang2

The past few days when I get him out of his crate in the morning I take him straight out to go potty. He'd go pee, but wouldn't go #2 no matter how long I stayed out there with him, so I finally would give up since I had to get ready for work. He wouldn't eat his breakfast, so I would know he had to go #2 but he just wouldn't go! Then, usually around 10 minutes after bringing him in, he would start to go on the floor and then I would grab him and run him outside to finish. Needless to say I've been watching him as I get ready so I can run him out, but it was getting old for sure!

Well, this morning, same-o same-o, went pee but didn't go #2. I brought him in and about 10 minutes later, I was in the kitchen looking into the living room where he was to keep my eye out and he was sitting in the middle of the floor staring at me. As soon as he saw me looking at him, he ran over to the door, then ran back to the middle of the room, then back to the door! I let him out and out he went to do his business!

Let's just hope he keeps it up! :crossfing

Thanks for letting me be silly and share!

Cool!

But, wait until this progresses to you waking up at 3am with an 8 month old, 58 pound Golden sitting on your chest and staring you in the face LOL

Been there! Often LOL

LOL! My son is 5 and STILL calls for me in the middle of the night to tell me has to go to the bathroom...lol...so I'm really going to be in for some sleepless night between the two of them! At least the BF is potty-trained! :)
Congrats! These milestones are so cool.
Congrats! He is darling and catching on quickly!
:dblthumb2 I know how exciting that is!
Yay! That's a big step. THe first time Tucker asked he went to the door and sat and I was so proud :) Now he does his big boy bark. Loudly.
Way to go Newbie. Keep up the good work. We are all so proud of you.
