Hmmmmm...My sister lives in Santa Cruz and knows most of the vets there quite well. I'm going to call her and ask her if she knows this clinic. Wish I had the money to try this out on Chance, but being very, very close to foreclosure on my home, it's out of the question at this point. God, that makes me feel like **** that I can't do this for him. :(

Yes - please keep us updated! It really is amazing what they are coming up with. I will say a little prayer this is a possibility for Dallas.

Dr. Clemmons at the University of Florida is using stem cell treatment for dogs with degenerative myelopathy in hopes of reversing the paralysis that's part and parcel of the disease. No consistent success yet, though, but DM is the demyelinization of the spinal cord, so it would be huge news if he had success with that!

That is one of the coolest articles that I have read about the future of medicine in awhile. I pray that it works for Dallas.
