We have a 3 mos. old Golden Retriever who possibly swallowed a rock today. We gave him lots of water and apple to help pass it. He is still very playful, not vomiting, and went potty (but just lost his 2 top front teeth!). Needless to say, he is our baby and we are very worried and would appreciate any help/advice. Thanks everyone!

Most of the time when they swallow something solid - they either vomit it up or pass it through the other end.

I would worry about an obstruction - signs of an obstruction would be loss of appetite, changes in bowel movement - usually none, dry heaves, nausea, eating grass. These were my dogs symptoms when he was obstructed.

If you are really concerned, I would call your vet in the morning, especially with him being so young. If he is still eating, drinking and playing - that is a good sign.
