Hi there,
I recently started feeding raw at the end of last year. It just came to me that we (dog included) are going on vacation in the middle of May, and I won't be able to transport raw meat due to the long drive and lack of car space. What do you do when you travel? I'm looking for affordable alternatives that aren't kibble! I am thinking my main options are the pre-made dehydrated/freeze dried type foods. I have looked into ZiwiPeak, Vital Essentials, etc. and the prices are outrageous!

I used to go to the grocery every day, kept AM meal in a cooler, picked up dinner and the next AM's every afternoon.

That's an option for sure! Just not convenient. But if I can't find anything else to do for the week then I'll definitely have to do something like that.

See if your local pet store has any samples of the freeze dried.
I’ve tried it with 3 dogs so far and the all hated it. (I only tried the honest kitchen, and obviously some dogs must love it cause it seems to sell well)
