I just tried feeding some to Fenway at lunch today -- he played with it for awhile, but wouldn't eat it. He's been raw fed since weaning, so I thought it would be a natural, but no-go. We'll try again tomorrow.

I bought some dried stuff to add to Griff's food - did it for a while - at first he looked at me like "Mom! What is this?" but he ate it. Gives him a touch of fish breath.

Back when I had Silky Terriers I was told kelp would help with pigment so I wanted to try it to see if Griff's black nose would return and he has brown pigment around his eyes - wanted to see if it got darker but I started to forget to add it so not sure if it works.

I don't think it hurts them. These guys like veggies as well as meat, and fish, and baked goods.. so they'll eat anything! LOL

Good general source of minerals, esp. iodine. Anecdotal reports of improving pigment.
DOES contain phytoestrogens which is BAD for INTACT MALES....can screw up hormones and affect the prostate. That is not anecdotal!
