So I had a paper bag full of borrowed books sitting on the floor. One of the cats, Koosh, kept sitting next to it, poking at it and whining, until I emptied it out and laid it on the floor. This is what he wanted (he's currently sound asleep in the bag):

It's the same concept as them having more fun with the BOX that the toy came in... instead of the toy.

Why would they want to sleep in a nice, expensive, luxurious bed when they can sleep in a free paper bag!?

Our cats love empty boxes. They love it whenever we get packages in the mail since they get to sit in the empty box. There will always be at least one of the cats sitting inside of the box, depending on how big it is, while the others are chewing on the edges of it. :doh:

Mine love boxes and paper bags. When I get grocerys from the base, they use paper bags and one of the cats is always hiding in them. I will go to pick up the bag to fold it up and one will be inside.

Cats are so funny! My cats have always loved paper bags. I used to play with them by scratching my finger on the outside of the bag and have them attacking the bag where they hear the scratching.
