We had a four hour agility seminar on crosses, and now Hallie is riding along in the car while I get errands done. This picture is from last weekend, but I’m pretty sure her concentrating face at agility looked just like this one of her looking at chicken.

I’m also envious of all the snow photos. Today’s forecast here is for 37C (98.6F) and the possibility of severe storms with heavy rainfall.

Thank you! Our main issue is excitability with greetings and interactions, but improving slowly but surely. Often she does better in class than at home. Last week, she got excited when we practiced "approaching a friendly stranger" in class, but last night she was almost perfect. Hopefully with 3 more weeks of practice in and out of class, we'll pass!

We played with doing tricks! I have each one do a favorite or work on something new. It was actually interesting. Pilot isnt real into tricks. He has enough to get a TKI. Winx, on the other hand, absolutely loves tricks. Her favorite is “bang” (playing dead). Well I told Winx bang and pointed with my finger pew pew and she very dramatically played dead. I could see the wheels turning in Pilot‘s head, so I turned to him and said “bang”. Wheels still spinning…..he lays down! I figure he’s halfway to figuring it out. My older dog Roxanne does leg weaves. He sees this and wants to try too. Apparently, the secret to Pilot doing tricks is having him watch the other dogs get rewarded for them!

Going to the airport today to practice navigating the terminal and boarding a plane.
I love Gatsby's look -- so adorable! I hope he is recovering fully.

Good luck to Gatsby on his recovery! It looks like he has no trouble wearing the boots. Did it take him long to adapt to them?

It's about 25-30 degrees here and not that bad. Was wearing shorts and house shoes (but my ear muffs to protect my ears) while I let the dogs run today... but yesh, I wish my cell phone came with one of those old fashion squeezy things for taking pictures. I didn't have my walking gloves with since I was just running out for coffee (hence the shorts too). The rest of me was fine (plenty warm as long as my ears were covered) - but my hands took a long while to get warm and stop hurting even with the heated steering wheel! >.<
I love the 2nd photo. Looks like they're having a blast!
