I'm going to buy a red coated golden puppy soon, and i was just wondering how i can make sure that i don't buy a puppy that will have white pigmented skin after? especially in the future, is it genetic?

And how do i pick a golden that won't get this later on in life, if its not genetic, does a specific gender get it?

And i'm extremely sorry for the large pics

I've never seen a golden that doesn't get the white face when they are older. Ours is a lighter reddish color, but his white face is beginning to develop slowly. I think it's a beautiful, special trait.

That "sugar face" comes with age, knowledge and living. I think it's beautiful and something to be proud of.

The white just shows up more on the darker Goldens.
