I have an almost 12 week old GR female. She has a lot of energy. She is a very high strung!! So how many walks a day should she have and how long? We do have her in puppy class and do training daily. Also how long should training be?

Frequent shorter walks are better for a young pup than one or two marathon walks. I wouldn't go for much more than a mile at a time. Also, walking on a softer surface than concrete or asphalt is better for a pup's growing bones, so if you can stick to grass/dirt/trails, that would be great. Training should always be fun, so when you see your puppy start to lose interest (not paying attention is a good clue), stop the lessons. Always stop on a good note and then have a play session, like tennis ball tossing, so that "training is a blast" lesson sinks in:)

Puppies have very short attention spans so short training sessions of maybe 5 minutes. Walks should be short also and preferably off pavement.
