Thanks again all for your encouragement...

I consulted with an M.D. who also has a holistic practice specializing in animals. We have a consult this weekend, he is positive he can help Hurley (has treated lots of cases like his). For the first time in months I feel like we can make him well again.

Thank you for asking...

The appointment was ok... I dunno.. something just was not sitting right with me.
I had already taken Hurley off the zinc last Tuesday, started giving him some fish oil instead. He seemed to be perking up a bit. I left that appt. with 3 new supplements, nothing for the zinc deficiency. I gave him the supplements yesterday morning and now he is really sick. My son said he had really watery poop yesterday afternoon when I was at my parents. He did not look good when I came home, he ate a bit of spoon fed table scraps that was all. I did not give him any of the supplements last night. He had me up all night long straining to poop..this morning he is really miserable.

I guess we are heading back to the Vet today...........
