Hi All... I need to vent.

For the past several weeks, I've seen a truck parked around the block from my house in my condo complex. Every time I walk by with my dog, there are two dogs in the truck barking and crying. For the last several days, those dogs have been in there in the middle of the night when I walk past with my dog.... I think they live in there 24/7. I've called the police before, but nothing has come of it. I just called the cops again, and told the dispatcher that the dogs are going to die unless someone intervenes. He said he was going to send someone out to check it out. I've also left a message with the SPCA.

Is there anything else I can do besides destroy this a$$hole's car and steal his dogs??

People suck.

Legally all you can do is call the police and animal control. Be a nuisance.

Is there a condo manager or someone like that you can call and complain about? I'd do that and call the spca several times a day if needed, till something is done. Animal control in your town? What a bunch of goofs...

I would continue to call your animal control people and don't stop until something is done. I'm with you, I'd be wanting to break into their truck and rescue those poor dogs too! People like that shouldn't be allowed to own animals!

I agree with the others and keep calling animal control till something is done. Hope they can save those dogs.

Thanks for the replies. I called the police, and the cop went to the guy's door and told him to put his dogs inside. He then came to my door and told me that they guy is a friend of the police and that he is a huge jerk so don't tell anyone that I've been calling. He gave me the home phone number of the chief of the SPCA in my county and said to call him as soon as I see the dogs in the car again. I've been walking past there for the last few nights and now a different car is parked there with no dogs in it. I hope he isn't leaving the dogs somewhere else. I was so dumb for not getting the plate number. I'm going to keep an eye out, but I don't think anything can be done unless I see it again.
