I have been researching insurance for our pup who we will be bringing home in August and I have a quick question..
I've read the policies online etc but either I can't find it or its not there but I'm just wondering if they cover neutering? I'm in Ontario Canada and they are the company that I am 90% sure I will be going with but was wondering if anyone knew if this procedure was covered?
Thanks!

Nicole

In the US it is not covered. I may be wrong, but I think most pet insurance policies do not cover spay/neuter unless you purchase an additional wellness package for routine procedures (which isn't available with Trupanion, at least not in the US).

I don't know if Embrace is available there. They cover spay/neuter, shots, fecal exams, microchipping, flea and heart worm meds. It is an extra policy you have to take out. I think it is called Wellness Plus and for here is an extra $28.95 a month in addition to the regular policy. For my 3 month old male golden it would be a total of $71.57 a month.
