I've let Penny out the back door; she walks around to the front door and barks to come in. I let her in and she walks right thru the house to the back door and barks to go out. No kidding!

Bryley's technique is a little different. He sits to go out. We obey and open the slider door. He walks out just enough so he is half in half out...and stops! Unless he reallllly needs to 'go' he just stands there and smells the air and also waits for the cats to come to him. (they do!)
What he wants is to have what we call indoor outdoor -door left wide open so he can come and go as he pleases! and he comes by that wish honestly as we do that in the warmer months.
