I’ve never noticed any problems with my Golden’s third eyelid showing before, but tonight after I got off work and let him out I noticed that it was covering a great portion of his eye every time he tried to open it. He’s currently 6 months old and very high energy, but he also seems to be super lethargic since I’ve noticed this. There’s not much redness, slightly pink, but what’s concerning me most is just the clear visibility of the third eyelid. Every few minutes or so, it seems to be getting better and then suddenly looks like it’s starting to cover his eye again. It looked like it was occurring in just one eye at first, but it seems to be both. This has been occurring for the last hour or so, but I just want to take preventative measures in case this is something I need to act quickly about.
I don’t have much knowledge about eye issues in dogs, so anything helps.

I'd take to the vet.

The only times I've seen anything like that was when I had dogs coming out from anesthesia.

Any chance he got into anything?
This is something I hadn’t seen before, so I definitely plan on taking him in as soon as possible. And I’m nearly positive he hasn’t gotten into anything in the house, but I’m not sure if there’s anything outside that he could’ve gotten into to cause this as well
