There's Lucy Girl! She was the prettiest puppy to watch grow up. I wondered what she'd mature into...and it's gorgeous! I remember fessing up that I thought she was a Toller too...Nope. :)

Happy Birthday Lucy Girl!

If memory serves...she is also highly intelligent and she astounded you and your hubby at every turn.

Yep. She's my intelligent girl. She still astounds our friends and family with her intelligence. We're learning we have another smarty pants with us now too.

I'll tell Lucy she has an admirer. So far, she's getting a couple of new teddy bears and a new wubba. We adopted a sister for her three weeks ago, and we both always bring something home for them whenever we go anywhere. I'm sure her Daddy will get her some more stuff today while I'm still at work too.

Happy #2 Lucy!!! Hope you have an extra special day. Ruby's preferred sleeping position is also on her back with front legs stretched out.

Oh I didn't mean anything bad at all. I was just curious. I understand, though. I get tired of the "why are you goldens so small" questions when all three of mine are at the upper end of the standard, and my female may even be OVERsized. Same type deal! lol Not to mention... my German shepherd is a black long hair. I'm so tired of "is he a shepherd mix?" and "what is he?" and of course... "is that a greyhound?" with the whippet ;) I feel your pain!
