For something fun in this area I thought I would let everyone guess how many pups my girl Eire is carrying. We have exactly one week to go until they will be here. I'll tell you how many she had in her last litter tomorrow after we get some guesses in(it is a repeat breeding so that gives me some confidence in how many)............ We have been waiting for a year to get some pups running around here, so we are pretty excited!

How do you pronounce her name? Eire... like Eye-Ra?

As far as pronouncing her name you would pronounce it like Ire(land) as in the country. It is the Gaelic spelling for the country Eireland.

OK so here is the scoup. In their first litter Eire and Stoney had 12 puppies(10 made it through whelping). Quite a good size litter! This time around I think she is just as big as last time, so I would be very suprised if there were less then 10 and not suprised if there were more then 12. The breeding was done a little earlier this time and spaced out a couple days. It will be interesting to find out how many are in there!!! 6 more days until we find out!
