If you're talking about hot spots, then an allergen in the food (usually a major protein source) is a possible culprit. Also, dogs with low thyroid values often have allergies and skin issues as a side effect. Have you had a full thyroid panel done at the vet?
staph infections
My dog Duke gets frequent skin staph infections, can anyone recommend a food or supplement or maybe grooming tips to help prevent these?
