I saw this today on fark.com of a Golden Retriever who does not like the Sonic Booms of the Space Shuttle Landing the other day. I did not realize Golden's have such fast reflexes. LOL I am glad his daddy was home when it happened.

My dog has the exact same reaction when he hears fireworks. Like tonight with the jackass kids down the street decided to set them off for over an hour and I had a panicked Bogey pacing all over the house.

I love the twin sonic booms, because they mean the shuttle and crew are through the most dangerous part of re-entry and are almost home.

Not sure if that was the same day we had our boom boom! (In California) I just bounced off the couch thinking it was the start of a quake! All 3 of my dogs jumped up and ran through the house growling...LOL. Something I was not expecting.
