Hey everybody, I have a 5 year old golden named Bo that I got from a shelter when he was two. He's a bit of a chewer but only chews on toys I get him but usually goes through one within a day. When I got him all of his teeth had been chipped from chewing on the wrong kind of bones.

I was wondering what you give your golden's to chew on while you're out. I'm worried if I give him an antler he'll try to chew on it till either his teeth chip or it breaks and he swallows a piece he chipped off.

I give my dogs Western Bully Sticks. They are 100% All Natural and very digestible. I also do raw marrow bones and Whimzees dental chews.

But with EVERY chew, you MUST supervise them. Do not leave a dog alone with a chew, no matter what it is.

What you could try is freezing peanut butter or yogurt in a KONG toy. Or what I like to do is putting treats in my dogs' Planet Dog Snoop toy. I have found that the Snoop lasts longer than the KONG.
