Hi,
2 months ago, my dog had severe diarrhoea due to worm infestation, however, he accidentally bumped his head on a Land Rover bumper, which came up as a lump on his forehead, which we ignored,he then started to severely scratch his head 6 days after the bump, within one hour his head was weepy ,red so we got emergency vet, who diagnosed pyoderma and gave shampoo, anti inflammatory jag and anti biotics for 5 days, shaved his head.Had to wear a lamp shade.
However, he has also very bad ear wax, smelly and now the head is turned brownish and the brow is red with tiny brown particles flaking on brushing. Another vet yesterday diagnosed yeast and gave shampoo and strong ear drops ortex.
He is a stunning white retriever , and i hate to see him in this condition, can you advise the correct treatment? What has happened?

Feed him about a cup of live culture yogurt each day. If he won't eat the plain, try the vanilla flavor. Do this for at least 2 or 3 weeks. You will begin
to notice a difference in a few days but keep feeding it to him anyway.

Put a whole bottle of aspirin pills in a blender and grind up finely. Pour powder into a bowl and add enough 90% isopropanol alcohol so as to make a thick liquid mixture of alcohol & aspirin. Before you dog goes to bed, put a few drops of this mixture on the scratched area.

You can also try chlorox.
