It seems like ever since the forum switched ownership, we are getting hacked A TON.

Any reason why??

No kidding - I find it so horrible that there is junk and spam in the Rainbow Bridge portion of the forum Something needs to be done to stop this!

If you see a spam post, please use the "report this post" . All moderators and admin will receive an immediate email and we can take care of it quickly.

I don't know if it's hacking - more like fake accounts and bam, something in every forum. It does seem rather more offensive in the rainbow bridge forum as that's like a virtual graveyard.

We have always had spammers come here and post spam but as we have grown we have become bigger targets. And like Fran said, if you see the spammers post something report it by clicking the triangle with the exclimation on the offending post.

Is it spam or is it ads? (As a gold sponsor I don't see them). Since being sold to a commercial venture, there will be more ads, since the company needs to make a profit.

Most people on the east coast did not see them before they were removed. They are posted late at night.

every forum i go to has the "Buy Nike Cheap!" or "Get your Viagra here!" kind of threads crop up. and, it is funny how it seems to be the same forum over and over.

the only forum i'm on that has been able to get rid of them instituted a small quiz at the beginning. if you don't pass the quiz, you don't get a validating email.

One of the forums I'm on has a simple addition problem that you must answer (correctly) to post anything, even as members. Another has an active reporting area and it kicks members off who have so many 'violations'.
