So last winter I was complaining because my work fleece would cause the elevators at the hospital to shock the snot out of me!
Now i'm away from that job.... and my DOG shocks the crap out of me!!!

Why does she collect so much static?!?!?! She walked along the couch then touched my back with her nose and omg it hurt so bad!! Through my shirt!!!!

Any way to get rid of this?? rub the dryer sheets on her? lol

I don't have any answers, but I share your pain. Rookie is getting very few butt scratches these days because of the shocks.

You can boil water on the stove to add moisture to your house; that will decrease the static caused by dry air. And throw some lemon in there for good nature. Its not the dog, its the air.

Humidifiers do the trick too....fixin' to get mine out of the closet... here in TX we rarely need it, but our heater has been running & this coming weekend we're expecting the 20's! YIKES!!! Give me 104 degree summers anyday to this! I'm a Florida girl.....not used to much cold!

Yea, just prevent the dry air and it should help a bit.
