but that doesnt stop me. i have to keep doing it. the abscess has started to drain and i can touch that area without her spasm/twitch in pain. just a couple pics. first one is Roxy, not happy with me at all. 2nd i have to wrap a towel around her to keep the heat on her. 3rd, may be gross to some, but thats what i'm looking for, the abscess is draining.

That is exactly what Beau's looked like and it healed up. Praying for good news that it is just an abcess and nothing more serious. Tell Roxy that Beau was very brave just like she is being.

Thanks Claudia, when i felt the lump on her, my stomach sank, i can deal with an abscess, not the dreaded "C" word. Rox's sends you all a hug back. or should i say a big sloopy kiss, D

Soooo much better than the alternative, but is she on antibiotics? I can't remember. If not, I really think she should be so that abcess will heal faster.
