Hi all,

Does anyone recommend something for rough/scratchy paws? Poor Butters could really use a pedicure! His high fives have become rather scratchy lately!!!

Some Musher's Secret might help. Those pads do get almost like coarse sandpaper in winter.

Dogs paws should be rough, and unless they are cracked or split, I would avoid trying to soften them. They need to be rough in order to handld the various surfaces that they walk on. If you were to go barefoot all the time, the soles of your feet would become tougher and rough as well, as protection.

Some old time judges actually feel the paws of sporting and working breeds and want to see that they are rough.
