Does anyone use a ramp to load their golden into an SUV? Just wondering if it works well since I will have to order it. Our other golden was only 52 lbs so I could handle that. This one weighs 63 lbs at 10 mths and I am having quite the time. I don't really know if I want to teach her to jump in due to her being young and dont want to stress her hips. Plus she never has shown any interest in jumping into a car so I dont think she will do it. Anyways just wondered if anyone has used these with success. I see Omaha vaccine offers a couple different ramps you can order.

We used a ramp for Sam when he got older. It's a metal folding ramp that stores easily for transport. If your SUV has hinged doors and not a sliding door, you'll need to use your ramp at the rear hatch entrance. A hinged door's opening is angled and the ramp will not work properly. I don't use it for Ike, he jumps up easily, but when he gets older and a bit stiff, I'll be using it again.

We got our ramp at PetSmart.
