she is going back in on october 1 to have some more surgery on her first surgery leg, she has a spot she will not leave alone, and no matter what I do, collar, etc. she has licked it into a bad spot on a leg, she has been on antibotics, etc...so the vet is going to cut that spot out and stitch her up, so hopefully she can get back to be a happy dog...

I am sorry that Rachel has to have another surgery. Have you tried to put Vicks vapor rub above and below the sore to keep her from licking it. My Daisy came to me with all kinds of bad lick sores and the vet said the only thing that he can use to get them to stop is the vicks. It worked and she has no more booboos.
