What are you getting them for Christmas?

My dogs are my kids. My ONLY kids. This is our first Christmas ever, so we're going a liiiiiittle overboard on the presents, but that's okay because a lot of it is coming from their monthly allowances. LOL

- They are both getting a kennel cover because what they LOVE to do now is pull the sheet into the kennel and chew it up. So neither of their kennels are covered and they look really sad.

- TONS of Orbee and Kong toys. They really only have one toy right now and after a while of playing with it they get bored. Plus they have nothing to chew on and decide to use my couch or table instead.

- Bully sticks and antlers. Mmmm.

- Cookies.

I know, that's a lot of stuff. :uhoh: I'm obsessed though. I can't help it.

My guys are in need of some fresh new collars. I'll have to see what's available in the Martingale style for them. I'm sure they will end up with some new plush toys and some treats too.

Our local pet store is going out of business () so we picked up a couple toys for Christmas on deep discount. We got him one of those sets of interlocking rubber rings and a squeaky rubber beer bottle. His friend has a squeaky beer bottle and Caleb is constantly stealing it from her.

Hmmmm....I am sure Murphy will need a new collar since he will have outgrown the one he is wearing. Bully sticks will need to be on the list as well. Chester likes his greenies. The trick with getting them toys is to find something that is not already on my family room floor or in their new toy box. Yes just a bit spoiled here!!

We already ordered a couple of new Lupines for our dogs (because we can never have enough collars) as well as some Nylabones, a couple of extra large loofa doggies, and a few antlers. I'm sure there will be more.

Penny will get some treats in her stocking. Maybe a cute new toy. She's pretty ruthless with her toys so we tend to not buy very many. Maybe another flying chicken. It didn't last long, but I had fun with it!

Her big deal is we give her all the wrapping paper to rip up. The place is a disaster when she's done and she's left panting laying in the middle of it. I have a picture somewhere. I'll put it up tomorrow!

Ok, good. I'm not the only one that is going to go overboard I can't wait!! I'm probably going to get him one of his fave treats which is the Sam's Yam's sweet potato chips, animal toys (he loves his hedgehog and duck) and probably plenty more!!

Let's see...everyone is getting a new nylabone. Tasha will get a new jolly ball. There will be treats from their favorite barkery. Mickey will need a new monkey by then. That's it for right now but I am sure there will be more.

Funny this thread came up because I was just talking to Jay yesterday about Molson's christmas presents.

At Bark & Fitz yesterday we saw the HUGEST beef bone (about 18" long) that we could picture Molson going crazy over, he's ready for a new nylabone, and I can see him liking those jolly balls too! I can't believe I'm saying this,() but he will be turning one just a few weeks later (January 18th), so we have to save some prezzies for him to open on his birthday, too! So maybe we'll get him a new leash and collar for his birthday.

My dogs totally ignored theirs for months when I first bought it.. I figured it was just a dud toy. Til one day they like... discovered it in the yard and could not stop playing with it.. they realized "hey I guess this toy IS fun after all!!" and now they love to chase eachother for it. lol

I've had that happen with toys too and I think oh, bummer. And then one day out of the clear blue it'll become a hit with him! I'll be scoping for the jolly ball for sure!

This is the one mine have... I think they like the rope version better than they'd like the regular Jolly Balls, though I don't have one of each to compare

Bogey has been a very good boy this year and is working hard at his obedience, so I think he's going to be super spoiled a get a big, soft, plush new bed that he can sprawl out on. I finally threw away the cheapy we got from Meijer. He outgrew it months ago and deserves bigger and better. But the bed we want is pricey, so I have to start saving.

He will probably also get a few toys - never can have too many!

Mommy would like a mat to go under Bogey's bowls, a new camera to take better pictures of Bogey and some new thinning shears for grooming Bogey. Can you tell we don't have kids either?!
