He'll be just fine. Neutering is one of the safest procedures out there in terms of surgeries. Love that face, he has that kissable, snugglable area on the sides of his nose/cheeks that I just love.
Aww - he looks very healthy - why are you so worried?
I had Griff neutered at 2 - he and the 2 dogs that came in before him all were just a pulling on the leads like nothing had happened to them when it was time to come home!
Do take the big E collar - I made the mistake of trusting Griff - I ended up bringing him back to be stapled up. Do avoid that - they get used to those collars right quick.
I dont blame you for being nervous with him being heartworm positive. Is there a reason he cant wait on the neutering till after his heartworm treatment? We will say a prayer for him.
Yes. He keeps getting jumped at the park just for being intact and standing around, and I hate it! I want to be able to take him everywhere. I had the same problem with my Whippet (not aggressive at all) dogs would go for him just because he wasn't neutered.
