Hi guys,

A couple questions about something I saw while walking around Petsmart the other day.

They sell puppy multi-vitamines for daily use. Are these of any use? I don't give him any kind of supplements apart from fish oil.

His diet right now is Taste of The Wild Puppy Pacific Stream and a tablespoon of wet food mixed in and a pump of pharmaceutical grade fish oil.

Are there any kind of supplements that would be a good thing for a golden in general?

He is 5 months at the moment.

For a 5 month old healthy puppy eating a quality food, there should be no need to give any vitamin supplement. In fact, a dog could end up getting dangerous levels of some vitamins/minerals depending on what is in the food and the vitamin supplement.

He is eating high quality food. I always joke that he is eating higher quality food than my husband and I are!

I thought they might be like us where we get rid of excess vitamines. Thanks for the info!
