So my 3 month old female puppy does a full blown run woth her nose to the ground. She always looks like she is going to trip but she never does. I was wondering if this means she might be good as a search and rescue or hunting dog? She is very smart, knows basic commands and some tricks. She is already signed up for the CGC and therapy dog for the future i was just wondering of this early sense of smell is good or normal.

Could be, Maddie's exactly the same way. Nose down sniffing constantly when we go on walks. We bought a book on scent training & are going to try it out with her. I'm sure she'll love it!
