Recent changes:
- last parvo and rabies shot 5 days ago (tested negative for worms/parasites/giardia)
- puppy class yesterday
- feeding from 3 times a day to twice a day just started yesterday
- went to park with grass, ate 1 zuke hip formula

This morning she had her regular meal and poop (7:30AM). but before we took her out, she had an unexpected poop (10:30AM) - decent size, and the end of it was slimy. A section of it looked like a layer of mucus on it.

Any ideas what this could be? We are going to keep an eye out for the next poop after dinner... :(

The word"slimy" makes me think of Giardia. Did she drink from any blechy puddles, streams or ponds?

Beamer had a some mucus in his stool twice (once in the morning, and the next one after lunch). After that, nothing. I checked the stool sample to be sure, and nothing was seen. I assume it was that he just ate something.

Maddie had poop with mucus on it when she was 10-12 weeks old. Vet said it was Pin Worms. We dewormed her again - and it went away.

I have this happen with my boy sometimes - he likes to chew sticks and sometime will get some kind of yucky bacteria in his system - I give both of my dogs vanilla or plain yogurt in their food to let the good bacteria kill the yucky bacteria....

I would keep asking around here - there are A LOT of helpful advice around here!
