Hi

Our Pup Bruno is 8 weeks old , we are not really sure what times do we feed him ,
Most importantly what time do we feed him in night , there are lot of different answers to this question if I google so kind of confused , not sure if feeding him too early in evening , will make him hungry in middle of night

We typically go t bed around 11 pm

Thanks a lot for any advice

We always feed about five o'clock for dinner. This way the pup was already fed and not hungry when we eat. This way they don't beg for food while your eating. Chloe gets fed at 8 am and she still gets a little for lunch at around noon. Really the three meals just need to be on the same schedule everyday so it helps with potty training. What ever works for you will work for the pup. They really won't wake up because of hunger. Usually only to potty. You don't want to feed to late. You want them to go poop before they go to bed for the night.

Honestly, you feed them at the times that work for your schedule and the dog's exercise and bathroom schedule. For example, I work off hours (ie. not 9-5). On work days, my dog eats at 9am, 4pm, and 10:30pm. (She does better eating three times a day). On weekends, she still eats three times a day, but the times may vary by what we're doing. If we are up really early to go field training, she may eat at 7am, 2pm, and 7pm. There are no set times. I like my dog to have an hour between eating and exercising, so I need to make sure we're up early enough to make sure she eats and has that time to digest before we head out to the park. In the afternoon, she eats after her second big outing.

I feed mine when he wakes up around 7ish, 12pm, than around 5pm. He gets a Kong filled with food as a bed time snack. My dog acts like he's always hungry and I can't imagine ever not feeding him lunch and only going to 2x a day.

We fed 3x a day, always after we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. No water after 7 pm. (for potty training). By 8 months old, it was down to 2x a day (morning and evening) because I noticed she was not eating much out of one of the meals. There's no set rule when you shift to twice a day feeding. You'll just notice the dog is eating less (or getting too fat...)

Last potty opportunity is always at midnight and I find that the pup sleeps through from midnight until about 5.30 a.m. to 6 am. This eventually lengthens.

Hope that helps :)
