This seems crazy. Is this the norm? I had Piper (yorkshire) spayed 18 months ago and it was less than this. They say the smaller dogs or more expensive. I was expecting it to be well over $200 but wow!

I know that a spay costs more than a neuter because it is more invasive, but $327 is outrageous. One of our friends just had their female lab spayed and they paid just a little under $200. I would probably be calling different vets to see if they all charge that much in your area!
