Gracie just had TPLO surgery 2 days ago and has yet to go #2 since we brought her home last night. Her leg is bandaged in an extended position so she can't position herself in a normal manner, if you know what I mean. She might not have eaten that much at the vet or the several medications may have her a little constipated. I've always been of the mindset that she'll go when she has to but is there anything I can give her to help her along? I've heard of pumpkin pie mix or something like that. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't change a thing for the moment but definatly keep track. The canned pumpkin (Not the pie filling) is most often used to firm up the stool. If you don't see any "movement" in couple of days you should probably call the vet.

Make sure it's Pure pumpkin and not the pie filling. I use it to firm stools. but my vet says it will correct either problem, sort of a cure all.
