My puppy is 14 weeks old and was treated for Coccidia when we first brought him home at 10 weeks. Everything cleared up and we got through the regiment of antibiotics. He never had regular diarrhea during the time, but at the end of the day his stool would start to get softer, eventually becoming diarrhea. This only happened after he ate his third meal of the day, after breakfast and lunch he would have solid stool. Could this be an issue with his food? We are feeding Pro Plan Savor in the chicken and rice puppy blend.

If not food, has anyone experienced something similar? We have an appointment to go back to the vet, but was wondering if anyone else had any insight as well. Thank you.

I'm guessing the Coccidia hasn't cleared up yet. Our boy took a couple of rounds of Metro to get rid of Giardia.

The odds of having allergies at this age is close to zero. Allergies are developed over time and that time is usually months and months, sometimes years. To have something like that happening before 6-10 months would usually indicate an autoimmune issue, not just a simple allergy to something.
