I feel so bad...today as I got to my parents house (to pick up the dogs after work) I walked through the door to see Tilly with a blanket over her back and a big blue bandage round her leg. I knew it would be a nail as they do seem to be getting a bit worse recently. She did it when out on a walk with my dad...apparently one minute she was running towards him and the next thing he knew she was sat with her paw held up and whimpering. My dad had to carry her about half a mile back to the car as she wouldn't walk on it at all, luckily he is strong! They took her straight to the vets and they had to sedate her to pull it off as it had ripped so high up that they couldn't just pull it like normal...I feel so guilty that I wasn't with her.

I was going to take her to the flyball tournament tomorrow, it is right by the sea so all the dogs spend the evening on the beach but I'm afraid now she will be on bed rest at my parents...poor girly.

Here she is, taken a couple of minutes a go...she is still all dopey! Do you like the bandge? That is an £19 ($30) bandage don't you know (HOW can they charge THAT much for a bandage??)

Awwww, poor Tilly. Hugs to you dear girl.

That bandage looks like Vet Wrap...mail order $1.95 a roll. We use it on the horses to protect the braid in their tail so it's still neat until showtime. I use it to wrap my wrist (a bit of tendonitis). It sticks to itself without being sticky but can't be reused; looses it's 'sticky' property.

Poor Tilly but it sounds like Grandpop took good care of her. What a great guy in carrying her back to the car. It looks like a good bandage to give her some padding but WOW what a price but she is worth it. Give her lots of hugs and kisses from us for being so brave.
She has been doing so well with her nails.
