I am so sorry to hear about Beau's long list of problems. Dealing with just one was very intense and traumatic, so I just cannot even imagine how you must feel. Will your breeder contribute to Beau's expenses?

Good question. She did pay for his heart to be evaluated by a specialist and gave us money back that would cover the testicle. She offered to take him back when we found out about the sas. My kids and I already loved him too much to give him back at that point. That was before we found out about the hip dysplasia and now his leg problem. I still couldn't give him him back, but as much as I love him there are days when I'm not so sure we made the right decision getting a dog in the first place. It has been like an emotional rollercoaster.

I understand your frustration and wanting to see the end of the rainbow. It hurts to see our goldens hurting or with medical issues. Hang tough and your love for him will ultimately help you through the rough patches. He needs you and is so lucky to have a caring, dedicated parent.

It shouldnt be like that- having a dog. I am so sorry. Tango's breeder refunded her whole purchase price- though her bills are, of course, much higher. Your state might have a lemon law. Poor Beau for having all those issues but lucky Beau for having you. Swimming is very helpful for elbow dysplasia.
