Just a heads up....VPI pet insurance will not cover anything related to pigmentary uveitis, as it's considered a genetic problem. Embrace Insurance apparently will, after a 12 month waiting period.
I submitted a claim to VPI for Toby's recent eye doctor visit, and they disallowed any part of it (which strangely was $0 ) that was related to the PU. They did pay for part of the glaucoma test/treatment, and the scratched cornea.
I have Embrace on Tito, I pulled my policy and read it and they do NOT exclude genetic problems.
