Just a heads up....VPI pet insurance will not cover anything related to pigmentary uveitis, as it's considered a genetic problem. Embrace Insurance apparently will, after a 12 month waiting period.
I submitted a claim to VPI for Toby's recent eye doctor visit, and they disallowed any part of it (which strangely was $0 ) that was related to the PU. They did pay for part of the glaucoma test/treatment, and the scratched cornea.
I have Embrace on Tito, I pulled my policy and read it and they do NOT exclude genetic problems.

I don't have any vet insurance on my dogs, but after the year I've had I am definitely going to get one when/if a new pup comes in here. Just not sure which one I should get. Was thinking about Embrace. I think I will check with my vet too before I enroll in a plan.

I think I remember that VPI didn't cover many things they said were genetic and that was why I didn't go with them. We have PetPlan and, thank God, haven't had to use it.
