I am so happy to have her back! My wife dropped her off Thursday morning and I picked her up the following morning. (My vet likes to keep them over night so they can observe her condition.) As I was paying the the bill, I see my Phoebe put both paws on the counter and pop up her head and smile as if to say "here I am daddy!"
She did not need any pain meds and she has been back to her old self!
She has the cone but does not seem to go after her stitches. I took it off for a bit but saw that she was licking around the area once in awhile so I thought better not chance it and put the cone back on her.
Thanks everyone who was wishing her well.
Here are some of her welcome home pics!
