We were all walking around outside when a big barred owl landed in a tree. I had my flashlight on me and was checking it out. When I got on the deck Peyton was working over a mouse. Don't know if it was alive or dead, or if she actually ate any if it, but it was in pieces.

So far she's had a strong stomach so I guess we will see how it does :doh:

My big concern would be if there was any chance that the mouse got into poison...

I was just talking about this with my husband. I dread spring summer beacuse I have a killer female cat that feels it is her job to bring home dog treats in the form of mouse or mole. She used to do it for our lab and we have not experienced what Finnegan will do. Most of the time it gagged me and I am dreading it! My worries range from poison to diseases!
