Having tried the standard remedies with some, but not total success, here are the latest results and Boomer (2+ years old, neutered male, healthy).

Switched back to Purina Pro Plan, grain-free 'seemed' to exacerbate the seizures
Varied phenolbarbital and have settled on 100 mg per day, 12 hours apart
KBr (potassium bromide, very inexpensive Amazon, hospital grade) 1 gram/1000 mg per day
Hemp Oil, CBD 3/4 eye dropper, daily
Ceased Bravetco and changed to Frontline

There were too many variable to conduct a true scientific experiment with a control, but so far, and not sure which if all, have positively affected Boomer's seizures and am hoping that it was as simple as ceasing Bravetco, and eventually I may start slowly change the Pb, KBr, and CBD.

Good luck to all.

PS: While one month or so does not constitute a cure nor total abatement, as I have been disappointed in the past. But, one note of hope was his last seizure was a petite mal that lasted two minutes. Heretofore, the petites usually lasted 15-30 minutes. Good luck

Good for you. I am glad Boomer is better. He's blessed to have you working so hard for him.
