As summer is approaching and it's already very hot where we live, I am curious on what products you guys use for their paws to protect them from the hot surface?

Are you familiar with the 5 second rule?
You put your hand down on a surface such as sidewalk, driveway, road, etc.
If it's too hot for your hand, then it is too hot for your dog's paws. Paws can burn and bilster within seconds.

This also applies to the sand at the beach.......

I've always walked my guys early in the a.m. before it gets too hot or later in the evenings between 7-8 p.m.

Dogs can get heat stroke like humans too if they are out in the heat and sun too long.

If it does get too hot or too cold for that matter you can use mushers. It's what they use for dog sled dogs. Most pet stores carry it I believe or you can order online.

Can always try boots. There are a slew of them available, Best to go to a pet store (when they are open again) to look at them firsthand.
