My girl was just diagnosed (through a malignancy panel) with a parathyroid tumor. She's had increasing ionized calcium numbers over the past few months which her oncologists attributed to her incompletely excised anal sac adenocarcinoma. However, over the last month, her appetite, weight loss and muscle loss have been dramatic.

I wanted to post outside of our regular thread to see if anyone here has had experience or is familiar with this type tumor and any of the treatment options (surgery, ablation, iv therapy/meds). In searching the forums, I found brief mentions of it and I've had a hard time finding a personal story posted online.
