Thanks everyone for checking in! I needed another week to recuperate from my hospital stint but we are both doing well. Posy has been on lots of adventures including coming to kidney clinic with me last week where she charmed everyone. Her first vet visit and puppy pre school went well. Because she can’t go out yet until she has all her shots she’s styling in a pet stroller!

She is smart and funny and incredibly calm and a quick learner. She knows sit and down and wait and come and place and sort of knows high five (one paw only), and it took her a week to figure out how to ring the bell to tell me she needs to go potty. She is now 11.5 weeks and weighs 18.7 lbs!!

Unfortunately we landed up at the emergency vet on Monday afternoon as she slept for 4.5 hours in the day and when she woke was wobbly on her feet and her head was bobbing and she wouldn’t eat or drink. Vet said she had somehow ingested marijuana!!! The only way it could have happened is if someone threw a butt into our garden over the fence. Thankfully they gave her fluids and anti nausea shot and she was fine 24 hours later but boy was it scary!

Here’s some pics of Posy living her best life.

Hope you're finally feeling better after your hospital stint and wishing you only positive news for your health from now onwards ☺ Posy seems to be enjoying life.. so sorry to hear about that marijuana scare - that's just insane!! Don't understand people who just throw away these things carelessly 😵 There was one older golden (I saw on YouTube) who apparently had ingested it also - he did look high, for the lack of better words.. Glad to hear Posy's recovered and doing well now..

Glad the pup is doing alright! Just a thought, sometimes those M-joints end up composting and later sprouting as a weed. Make sure you have none growing in the yard, as your pup may recognize the smell and chew on it.
Thank you! No weeds that I can tell at this point but will definitely keep an eye out
